Dr. Phillips is the proud Pastor of the St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church located at 6000 Singing Hills Drive in Dallas, Texas.  He has been leading the congregants at the St. Phillips Baptist Church since 1977.  He is a gifted Pastor and Teacher who communicates God’s Word with excellence, ministering under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

A product of the great lineage of Bishop College gospel preachers, Dr. Phillips has grown to become one of the most dynamic and charismatic preachers of today.   He is known throughout these United States and abroad for his powerful sermons and melodic singing abilities.   Because of this, he receives numerous invitations to conduct revivals throughout the nation.  As his schedule permits, he graciously accepts these invitations to spread the good news.  His life’s mission is in response to God’s charge to “Go ye therefore and make disciples of all the nations…”- Matthew 28:19.

Dr. Phillips is the epitome of a true family man.  He is married to the lovely Esther Calhoun Phillips who is the air beneath his wings. He is the proud father of six daughters, three sons and 20 grandchildren.  He is richly blessed to be loved by all of his family!

Dr. Phillips is the Evangelical Board Chairman of the National Missionary Baptist Convention of America where his desire is to save the lost.  He is a member of numerous religious and professional organizations and he has been the recipient of hundreds of distinguished honors, awards, and citations for his service on local, state, national and international levels. 

The scope, type and number of honors bestowed on Dr. Phillips attest to his involvement in local, state, and international service, as well as the respect and admiration he engendered for this service.
