Health Ministry

The mission of the Health Ministry is to serve God’s people as church nurses by giving aid and comfort as directed by the word of God in using our gifts and talents.

​

Goal:

The goal of the Health Ministry is to identify the needs of our ministry as church nurses and its importance to the Pastor, congregation and the community. Additionally, our services will provide aid to those in need through Christian love, compassion, as identified in the word of God.

​

Duties:

Be a willing worker

Be cognitive and alert to attend to the needs of the congregation

Assist with funerals

Attend to the Pastor and First Lady’s needs at church as well as outings

Assist with Health Fair Events

Provide information in association with health awareness and concerns in the church and community

 

St. Phillips Health Ministry has actively participated and assisted in functions as follows:

• The American Heart Foundation ( Nurses Red Ribbon Day)

• Breast Cancer Awareness (Nurses Pink Ribbon Day and Breast Cancer Walk)

• Kidney Foundation

• American Diabetes Association
